Most cows I find unpredictable and a little scary unless they’re behind a wall but I’ve always had a love for the Highland Coo or as I call them Hairy Scottish Cow.
I have no idea how they see with all that hair, but they do.
And there’s one place in the Cotswolds where they are so used to sharing their space with humans that you can be with them and they aren’t phased, they continue their peaceful grazing. And that peace settles on me.
